Encouraging beneficial insects to the garden and Bringing Wildlife into the Garden with Elizabeth Docking from 'Community Greening'

  • 5 Senses Garden Killoola Street Concord West, NSW, 2138 Australia (map)

There is something special about hearing birdsong and frogs in your garden, watching birds feeding their young and discovering a blue tongue lizard has made your garden home. Learn how to create a garden that encourages wildlife into your garden. There are many benefits of sharing your garden with wildlife that you may not have considered.

If your garden is full of flowers and native plants then you will have a diversity of birds, bees, butterflies, frogs, lizards and soil fauna and flora. In a diverse garden there is a greater chance that plants, pests and predators will live in harmony, thus giving you healthier plants. Your diet and health will also be enhanced.
